Welcome to the Childwall and Heswall Karate Academies' website. We teach children and adults the martial art of Goju Ryu karate in the Liverpool and Wirral region.

The dojos are led by Sensei Roy Flatt (8th Dan), a respected international Goju Ryu karate instructor who is also a senior grading instructor of the English Goju Ryu Karate Association (EGKA).

New students should not feel daunted at the prospect of joining a karate dojo without knowing what to expect. Everyone starts from ground-zero. Sensei Roy has many years of helping complete beginners take their first step on their martial arts journey to black belt. He welcomes adults and children (over 8 years of age) to his dojo.
